True Black printing with a Lamination

If your print has a black background throughout, you may wish to order a Swatch Book to see the difference between our laminations on black ink. 

Matt and Soft Touch laminations can present scratches a little bit clearer than on any other colour. This is due to the lamination being a coating on the paper stock, so when any scratches or damages occur this leads to tiny air pockets to fill between the paper stock and the lamination - resulting in what looks like a scratch.

A Matt / Soft Touch lamination can work effectively on mainly black coverage prints, however, this is entirely down to personal preference. So if you are unsure, please order a Swatch Book to see the difference lamination can make to overall print.
